Oxford United vs Shrewsbury Town Match Report
The U’s returned to winning ways against a struggling Shrewsbury side in League one, while manager Karl Robinson was isolating while waiting for Covid-19 test results.
Despite their opponents picking up just 1 point on the road all season, Oxford struggled in the first half before Sykes fired a 25-yarder past the keeper right after the restart.
Brannagan stood out as he dictated play and should have scored, before he finally repeated the long range effort to seal the win and a much needed 3 points.
