The full line up for Fairport’s Cropredy Convention music festival has announced the full line-up for this summer’s event, taking place at Cropredy near Banbury from Thursday August 8th, until Saturday August 10th 2024.
Fairport’s Cropredy Convention is an annual music festival held in Cropredy, Oxfordshire, England. It is organized by the folk rock band Fairport Convention and features a mix of folk, rock, and other genres of music with Anthony John Clarke as compare.
The Cropredy festival typically takes place over a weekend in August and includes performances by a variety of artists as well as activities such as workshops and food vendors. Fairport’s Cropredy Convention has been running since 1976 and has become a popular event for music lovers in the UK.

Tony Christie
Tony Christie is an English musician and singer known for his hit songs such as “Is This the Way to Amarillo” and “I Did What I Did for Maria.”
Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage
Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage are a British folk duo known for their harmonious vocals and acoustic instrumentation. They have released several albums and are known for their traditional and contemporary folk music.
The Zac Schulze Gang
Brothers Ben (drums/vocals) and Zac Schulze (guitar/vocals) are known for their up-beat blues and rock music, and joined by Ant Greenwell (bass/vocals)
The Trevor Horn Band
The band formed by renowned English music producer and musician Trevor Horn, performs a mix of original music and covers, showcasing Horn’s talents as a musician and performer.
Rick Wakeman with The English Rock Ensemble
Rick Wakeman is a renowned English keyboardist and composer, known for his work with the progressive rock band Yes and his solo career. He has also collaborated with The English Rock Ensemble on several albums and tours.
Host band Fairport Convention will welcome festival-goers with an acoustic set on the Thursday as well as playing a two-plus hour closing set on the Saturday night. This will be preceded by a surprise Special Guest.
Organisers say the performances are diverse and chosen to appeal across genres and generations. Highlights will also include Big Big Train, Focus, DeWolff, Kathryn Tickell and the Darkening, Eddi Reader, Baskery, Black Water County, Elles Bailey, Richard Digance, Feast of Fiddles, Ranagri, Spooky Mens Chorale, SilverBlues.
Billed as Britain’s friendliest music festival, Cropredy has been staged in the same rural Oxfordshire setting since 1980, and each year attracts up to 20,000 music fans of all ages.
Adult three day tickets start at £165; Youth three day tickets (12-17) are £85 and under-12s are free.

How to get to Fairport’s Cropredy Convention
Guests are encouraged to come by public transport, and there is free camping for those without a vehicle.
By Train and bus
Chiltern Railways run trains to Banbury station from London Marylebone station and Birmingham Moor Street station.
Stagecoach will run a special Bus Service from Banbury and Cropredy, as well as the standard service.
By Car
Head to to Banbury at Junction 11 on the M40 motorway. At the top of the slip road is a roundabout; from there please follow the temporary signs to the festival. The above map gives directions for campsite parking.
If you are not camping on the site, there is a car park on the north side of the Williamscot and also another on Field 7c. Festival stewards will direct you.
