Dr Rupy joins the Blenheim Palace Food Festival for this weekend

With only a few days to go until the Blenheim Palace Food Festival (Friday 20th– Sunday 22nd August), Fantastic Food Festivals is finalising their enticing programme of events. Due to unforeseen circumstances Dame Mary Berry is now unable to attend the festival. However, the Fantastic Food Festival team is delighted to announce TV cook, bestselling author and NHS medical doctor Dr Rupy Aujla will be in the Festival Kitchen on Friday 20th August for an engaging demonstration followed by a book signing.

Dr RupyThe founder of ‘The Doctor’s Kitchen’ in 2015, Dr Rupy strives to inspire and educate everyone on how they can cook their way to health and to showcase the beauty of food and medicinal effects of eating and living well. He is renowned for his BBC iplayer series Cooking in the Doctor’s Kitchen and Thrifty Cooking in The Doctor’s Kitchen.

Dr Rupy will be in good company at the festival with world renowned chef Gennaro Contaldo, TV chef Dean Edwards, MasterChef Champions Kenny Tutt and Thomas Frake, Bake-Off star Karen Wright and Wholefood Warrior Eva Humphries attending, amongst many other foodie experts throughout the weekend.

Meet the Shire Horses from Hook Norton Brewery
Hook Norton Brewery will bring along their magnificent Shire Horses to the Festival on Saturday and Sunday.  The horses are no strangers to Blenheim Palace, having visited a few years ago when Hook Norton brewed a beer using Blenheim Palace’s very own mineral water. They will be there to meet and greet visitors at the entrance to the Festival, take photos with them and meet their team.

With 2000 acres of extraordinary parkland and formal gardens there is plenty of space to let the children run wild and explore at Blenheim Palace. The glorious backdrop of the Palace and grounds is the perfect setting to enjoy a family picnic of food and drink from the festival.

To attend the festival, you will need a Park & Garden ticket or entry is free with a valid annual pass.

Adult tickets £15.00, Child tickets £6.40, Concession tickets £12.00 or a Family ticket £36.40.
All day tickets can be converted into an Blenheim Palace annual pass for an additional £11.00 (includes year round access, free events, discounted rates).

VIP Garden Upgrade (in addition to entrance ticket) – Adults (18+) – £20.00 (Online) / £25.00 (On the Day)
