The Oxford University Museum of Natural History has been swamped by offers to rehome it’s Utahraptor model which has been in storage since 2014
The museum is offering a free model of a fearsome predator to whoever submits the best case on the submission form by August 5th. It has been owned by the museum since 2000, but has been in storage since 2014.
Potential venues will need a clear floor space of 1.6m by 1.2m (5.2ft by 3.9ft) and additional room for its tail. If you have an indoor public space that could house this fearsome creature, you can apply to the museum why you feel the dinosaur would make a welcome educational addition.
