A 50-year-old man from Peterborough was charged yesterday with the murder of an Oxford art dealer who was found dead at his Iffley Road home last Thursday.
Michael Danaher, 50, of Hadrians Court in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, was charged with one count of murder and is expected to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court today.
Adrian Greenwood, 42, was found with multiple stab wounds by his cleaner in the hallway of his home last Thursday afternoon, after what police are calling a ‘vicious and sustained attack’.
Danaher was arrested in Peterborough on Sunday night and has been remanded in custody.
Mr Greenwood was last seen at a Sainbury’s supermarket in Oxford Road, Kidlington at around 6pm last Tuesday.
