Jack FM will once again partner with Oxford Round Table and help host the event with entertainment provided on video screens. Oxford Round Table will be running the public bar with a selection of alcoholic drinks available including mulled wine.
For the thrill seeker in you, Hebborn’s will be providing some great funfair rides for all the family to enjoy. The family tent in the tented enclosure with inclusive food and drink as well as great view of fireworks and bonfire will also be operating.
Oxford charitable fireworks display is organised by Oxford Round Table with profits from the evening going to local charities. Since the start of the displays Oxford’s premier fireworks event has raised over £1 million pounds for worthwhile charitable causes. Any charities wishing to engage regarding funding requests can contact them at Oxford@roundtable.org.uk.
A bumper crowd is expected to attend this year’s event, and the easiest way and cheapest way to get your tickets is to buy them in advance online at oxfordfireworks.co.uk. Tickets are on sale now.
They have partnered with Oxford Bus Company to offer a combined Park and Ride Fireworks ticket. Extra buses will be running every 10 minutes between Thornhill and Oxford Brookes University, making the event easier to get to. Gates for the event open at 4.30pm and it is recommended that people arrive early to enjoy the entertainment and activities on offer.
Sponsors of this year’s event include Finders Keepers, as well as support from our Partners, Jack FM, Jack 2, NMH, Oxford Alarm Company, J&R Farming Limited, Nicholas Jones Residential, and other local businesses keen to help raise money for charity, whilst helping bring the community together to enjoy a fun and safe fireworks night.
Current Oxford Round Table Chairman Hugo Tobias said, of the event “Our Charitable Fireworks display is one of the biggest events throughout the year held in the city, we thank all our partners for their support and would encourage as many people to attend on the evening as possible. I am looking forward to Illusion Fireworks putting on another cracking display for us. All of the profits from the event are donated back over the course of the year to local charities, so every person that attends is directly contributing to helping the local community.”
